Makar Sankranti in 2020 is on Tuesday, the 14th of January(14/1/2020).

Makara Sankranti (also appalled Makar Sankranti or Sankranti) is a Hindu festival of India and Nepal. The festival is celebrated to mark the variation of the Sun from Sagittarius to Capricorn during the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere.

The famous Kumbh Mela is also held on Makar Sankranti every 12 years. Hindus gather in large numbers to take a holy dip at Ganga Sagar on this day every year.

मकर संक्रांति २०२० में मंगलवार को है, जनवरी (14/1/2020) ।

 मकर संक्रांति (यह भी भयावह मकर संक्रांति या संक्रान्ति) भारत और नेपाल के एक हिंदू त्योहार है । त्योहार के उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध में शीतकालीन संक्रांति के दौरान धनु से मकर राशि के लिए सूर्य की भिन्नता को चिह्नित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है ।

  प्रसिद्ध कुंभ मेला भी हर 12 साल में मकर संक्रांति पर आयोजित किया जाता है । लोगों हर साल इस दिन गंगा सागर में पवित्र डुबकी लगाने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में इकट्ठा होते हैं ।
